I have had an issue with my monthly archive tape backups time to completion being interrupted with normal nightly incremental.
Why can't it run at the same time? I'm archiving a specific backup up until the point of initializing the tape. Shouldn't it refrain from locking out those files until that is complete? Is this a bug, expected, or should it be a feature request for a process change? My monthly to lto6 got killed 19 hours in several times now.
