Tape Backup Idle Status

I just created my first Virtual Tape Full Backup Job. It's currently just sitting in idle status. When I look at the bottom of my screen it says, "Some tasks require retry." But it doesn't tell me anything more. Any ideas on how I can find out what the issue may be?

Hello Patrick.

You may see this when your source jobs are still running and it causes conflicts with backup to tape job. Do you see any tasks in waiting state when you open backup to tape job log? Thank you.

None were waiting at the time, no. The only other job scheduled for the machine I was backing up didn't start until the time that one was ending. But the tape backup job took 5 hours for only a 6GB job. I'm not sure why it would've took that long.

May I ask you submit a support case and share the case ID? Looks like we might need to enhance the log wording to properly reflect the situation, so I might need your case for the reference.
