Hello
just to make sure.
I know that in Standard Edition it only is possible to do "files to tape" jobs.
But: Are loader systems with multiple drives still supported with this?
So could i prepare two Jobs to copy different directories to tape, targetting one job to one drive and the other job to the other drive?
Will tape handling / media pool settings still be working (retention / overwrite protection)
Thanks for a lead on that.

Multiple standalone drives, you mean? They are totally supported. You will have to create one media pool per drive, and point files to tape jobs to them (one per media pool). Thanks.

Joerg,
Yes, your scenario is totally supported. Just make sure you point both of your jobs to separate media pools, as with such configuration drives can process tape media simultaneously. Thank you.
