Tape migration for single VM in backup job

Hi

Veeam v9.0 update 2

A tape migration of a backup job which contains four large VMs has failed. Three of the VMs migrated successfully, however, one VM did not migrate.

Is it possible to migrate a single VM in a backup job to tape?

Could you elaborate on your goal, please?
Do you want to move VM from one backup job to another but keep the backup chain on the tapes?
Do you use per-VM backup option?

Hi

A backup job has four VMs writing to a per-VM backup repository. Each VM is approximately 5TB in size. The tape job is set to backup the repository and three of the VMs migrated successfully, but one did not. I don't want to run the tape job again as it will migrate all four VMs again. I just want to migrate the one VM from that repository to tape.

The error message was:

There is a KB Article addressing the issue. Please get familiar.
By the way, did you use file-to-tape job instead of backup-to-tape one?
