Dear All,
At the end of the backup to internal disks of Veeam Server V8, we execute a copy job to tape.
The goal is that we put all tapes used for the copy job in a status "protected" and export those tapes externally. The goal is that Veeam does not request the last tape of the copy job which is more than probably not full so still appendable
Any idea is welcome to put all tapes used in a copy job as protectable or read-only (i.e. not usable in the following copy job)
Thanks
Best Regards,
Lillo

Re: Tape protected at end of copy job
Hi Lillo,
You can use export media set upon job completion in conjunction with Automatically create new media set > Daily at option. That should close existing media set, making the last tape not appendable.
