Hi,
We have an HP MSL G3 with 4 drive units installed.
2 LTO 6 (disconnected)
2 LTO 8
We have removed and disconnected the LTO 6 drives and they are no longer showing in device manager, I have set them to disabled in Veeam, how do i remove them from Veeam ?
Our Tape jobs logs this annoying message and set the Last result to Warning.
Changer alert: I: A drive inside the library has been taken offline. This is for information purposes only.
I want to get rid of this message.

Re: Tape, removal of drives in Veeam
Hi Elefanten,
Please download and install "HPE Library and Tape Tools", connect to said library and check if LTO6 drives are gone from the library configuration as well(not just from VBR Tape Server device manager). If Tape Tools are clear from old info, then best way to fix that will be by logging a support ticket. Manual database configuration might be required and shall accompany Support Engineer guidance.
Thanks!
