Tape rentention change and media pool move

Hello,

Can you change the retention time or expiration on a tape after the backup process? We have a backup to tape job that ran over the weekend using our Weekly media pool, we want to change/move the 3 tapes to the Monthly media pool that we have created so they don’t expire as fast. We moved one tape directly to the Monthly media pool, but it lost its properties, can't see when it was created or the expiration date.
Did we also lose the backup for the tape now as well?

Nope. Try to catalog the moved media. That information should be shown, once the said procedure is done.
