Hi all,
I'm wanting to incorporate a tape loader into my current backup solution to hold a secondary copy of backups using the GFS format. I'm currently backing up using forward incrementals with 30 restore points to a seconardary data centre and then have a separate Backup Copy job running the end of each month to store a monthly and yearly backup.
Whats the best way to bring my HP tape loader into play? I want to archive monthly and yearly backups and just copy my daily incrementals onto tape to constantly overwrite itself.
Thanks for your input.

Re: The addition of a tape loader to current setup
Hello Chris.
You can setup a GFS media pool, feel it with tapes and select the desired retention approach based on the GFS schema. Start with this Help Center article to learn more about tape GFS and possible setups and let us know if you have any questions. Cheers!
