The specified path, file name, or both are too long

Hello,
I'm trying to copy our fileserver files to tape using Veeam 7 R2. Unfortunately, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

failed: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

Any possible solution to this problem?

You can use hard links to workaround this issue, our support team should have the instructions on how to do it.

Use Long Path Tool, it works good for such problems.
