Hello,
I am using a TL2000 tape library with an LTO5 SAS drive. I've been able to use a file to tape job to do full and incremental backups of a small file share I have, but larger file shares seem to not work.
The error I am getting is Tape fatal error. The I/O bus was reset.
I applied the registry changes from KB ID: 1887 but it didn't help.
The job fails at random points during the writing, sometimes at 10GB sometimes at 7GB.
I'm using an LSI 9212-4i4e card with the latest firmware.
Both the tape drive and library have the most up-to-date firmware.
Please help me figure out what is wrong.

Re: TL2000 File to Tape Job Fails after few GB
Hello and Welcome to Veeam R&D Forums!
I guess it would be best to wait for the results of the research from our support engineers. We cannot troubleshoot technical issues effectively over the forum posts.
Thanks!

Case was dismissed due to low support staff availability.
I am going to try a new SAS card and see what happens.

That was it. I guess my SAS card was bad. I've had no problems since I installed the new one.
