Unable to enumerate path

Post by ithelp345 »

I have a tape backup that put out the error "unable to enumerate 1 paths on volume /".
Where in the logs can I find out what that path is?
I have seen a different error of "problem with reading from source" and I can find those files in the Task.*.log file but I have not been able to see where the failed enumerated path is logged.

We currently use the Community edition so I am not expecting to get a reply from support. I just want to know where in the logs I can find the information so that I at least know which folder wasn't backed up.

Hello,

I have no ideas besides examination of job and task logs. I think you should keep trying to open cases, every single attempt increases chances to get support, it is provided on a best-effort basis depending on staff availability for Community, Free or NFR licensed products.

Thanks!

I did a wider search and found it in the "Job." log file. My issue was "because the path contains special character "|" reserved for internal use". I fixed that and issue went away.
