Hello,
When I read documentation about this media pool, I understand when NEW tape is loaded on the drive, we need inventory it.
On my case, I did a backup to tape and the I put off the tape from the library and 2 week later I put it in again. My tape is on unrecognized mediapool and after 1 week there is no more result. I think it's 3 min for automatic inventory but this is not working here. My library is Quantum scalar i3 280g with 2 drives.
Thanks

Re: unrecognized media pool
Hi Matteu
Seems like a technical issue. What does our support say?
Thanks

Re: unrecognized media pool
Try to erase the tape also.
I found that when I inserted and inventoried a new tape, if it was a brand new one, I needed to erase it (a short erase is ok).
If not, veeam reported no space available.
Hope it works.
