Hello,
is it possible to use rewritable tape media in worm media pools?
Thanks.

Re: Using Rewritable Tapes in Worm Media Pools
Hello Stephan,
Unfortunately, it's not. As the WORM Tapes cannot be overwritten and retention setting are disabled, Veeam B&R separates WORM Tapes and Standard to different pools. It means, that you cannot add WORM Tape to Standard Pool, Veeam B&R identify the type of the tape and marks them as WORM in Veeam database. Please, follow this link to learn more about Worm Tapes and Worm Media Pool. Cheers!
