V13 backup to tape larger than repository

Hi.

Since i switch to V13 i have problems (V12 was perfect why software editors destroy good tools ????)

Can someone explain me why my backup to tape backup take nearly twice the size of the repository ????

first this is what tape job indicate


second this is the configuration to have every day last full backup on tape


Last this is what job tape indicate when it start (why 3.1 tb ????)

Hi plavielle,

Please open a Support case and let Veeam Support review the logs for the tape job.

We won't be able to meaningfully troubleshoot such items over the forums as it will require review of the debug logs.

I cannot explain the discrepancy just with screenshots, but Support will be able to tell what the job identified as backups that needed to be moved to tape, so please proceed with Support as prescribed.

after posting, i'm thinking that that job was "imported" from V12 config backup.

I'm going to make a "new" tape job to see if all goes well
