Veeam Monthly Tape Backup
I am new to Veeam at my place of employment but it all looks straightforward except I am having an issue with the Monthly tape backup. It was missed Sunday due to the monthly tapes not being in the slots. I took out the daily tapes and put the monthly in. When I go to edit the job and go through the options and get to the Summary page I click the checkbox to "run the job when I click finish" but it will not run. It should run despite the next scheduled monthly backup being September, correct, or do I need to edit the schedule temporarily?

Can you please describe your backup tape job configuration (specifically schedule and how source is configured) and the target media pool (specifically media set and retention settings). Thanks.

Looks good, and how about Monthly media pool configuration? Media set and retention steps is a place of interest.

Update: The Monthly tape job timed out overnight so I just hit the start button again and it has started processing the backups. Hopefully, that is all I need to do.

Also, it seems the three monthly tapes were not assigned to the monthly pool. Hopefully that fixed it.
