waitfor tape 05093638
Hello veeam technicians! I have a tape library that uses Veeam Backup & Replication backup software. My tape stores 2TB of content, and there is 2TB remaining, but I can’t continue to back up the content in it now. I am prompted to wait for new tapes. I don’t know it’s a problem with us. Or is the software set up incorrectly? Can you give us a solution? We only need to ensure that the tape can be stored in it at any time, until the tape is full. thank you all!

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
I assume that the media pool has no empty tapes available.
To identify your issue (instead of guessing like I do right now), please continue working with support (these are R&D forums, not support forums). Please note, that support can only help if log files are provided. As far as I see, log files are missing in the case. https://www.veeam.com/kb1832
Best regards,
Hannes

https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110 should give some ideas. You must load tapes to the tape device and configure the target media pool so that it has access to them.
