Good morning,
I have 2 esxi servers connected to a SAN. And I have 20 virtual machines on this Esxi servers. Also I have a license for Veeam Essential Standard.
I'm backing up all my VMs to another SAN. So far, so good.
I'd like to make a copy of my backups on LTO tapes.
I installed an LTO tape drive on a Windows 2016 server.
From my Veeam B&R Server I would like to make a copy of my backups on this server.
I would like to know what kind of licenses I need to make backups on LTO tape.
Veeam Essential Enterprise,
Thank you

Re: What kind of license do I need
What edition does your license have? Standard, Enterprise or Enterprise Plus?
With Enterprise editions you can create VM backup to tape jobs, and file backup to tape ones with Standard edition.
Thanks!
