Hi Everyone.
Glad I found this thread, having the same issue here...
2 Physical Servers, running Server 2019, all updates installed.
Veeam 9.5U4.
3 repos on each server approx 36tb each, RAID 6 SATA, with REFS 64k.
Backups running fine, good speed.
Copy job between server, look ok....
Main problem comes when trying to pull 70TB of backups from the REPOs to tape.
We run 4x LTO6 drives, and get +- 600mb/s. then after about 1 day, the job rate drops to sub 20mb/s

Checking now for more Server 2019 updates...
Cheers. Nick.

Re: Windows 2019, tape offload performance
Hello! The original thread you chose to post in was the wrong one actually, as your ReFS volumes are too small to experience the issue discussed there. They need to be at least 10x larger to be in the "problematic" range. Thus, your issue looks to be unrelated, so I've split it into the new topic and move to the Tape forum. Please remember to include support case ID for this issue in your next reply, as per forum rules. Thanks!

Re: Windows 2019, tape offload performance
Thank Gostev.
I have just done the latest windows updates and the Tape job is now running.
If the issue is still there this week, I will log a support case.
Thanks.
Nick
