Authentication error upon adding cloud connect credentials

Post by truenet-paul »

Hi. I am trying to add the linux agent to my Ubuntu 16 LTS server. I have the software installed and working. However, when I try and connect it to my cloud connect server, I get the following error.

Authentication error. Hresult: 0x8009030c.c.
[TBD]Unable Authenticate by ntlm.
Unable authenticate to backup server cloudxxx.xxxxxxx.com:10002

Has anyone seen this before or am I just missing something. The user name and password are just basic, no domain level authentication. I have tried with the domain field empty, or with the local server auth name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe it is just because Cloud Connect repository is not supported as a destination for the backup job.

Will there be an option for this in the future? I was under the impression that the "endpoint" would be able to go directly to a cloud server. I have several instances where this would be the perfect option.
