Can`t instant restore to Hyper-V?

Hi all,

Is it not possible to restore directly to Hyper-V with Veeam Agent for Linux?
I have imported a backup into my production Veeam B&R except i cannot seem to restore to a Hyper-V server.

I can restore the backups from the Windows Agents to Hyper-V

Hi,

This is correct. This is not possible, you can only Instant Recover Windows Agents backups to Hyper-V. You can however export the backup to VHD(X) files and create a VM from those to boot.
