Clear Linux support

Post by ManOrs »

Hello,

do you plan to add support (or a walkthrough for installation) to Intel's Clear Linux?

Sure, it is a fast moving distro (even faster than my usual Fedora  )
Sure, it is probably virtual so it can be added to a normal B&R backup job
However I can think of a couple possible situations where the agent could come handy

Hi,

I don't think that Clear Linux suppor will be added soon. Regarding the walkthrough - you might want to take a look at this VAL on Gentoo howto as it could give you some hints on what to start with.
However I can think of a couple possible situations where the agent could come handy
Would you please share your ideas?

Thanks

I'll try the howto, thanks

By the way I was thinking about:
- public clouds (Azure for sure, I do not know if it is already in Amazon marketplace)
- unsupported hypervisors (KVM, OpenStack)
- as a physical host (for virtualization or as container host)
