Failed to get file system object info

Post by justin23 » Nov 15, 2016 4:41 am

I'm getting the following errors on a backup we are doing. We have a physical linux server, but I'm backing up individual partitions as there is a big partition we do not want to back up. I have 4 jobs and they all run the first time. then this one fails. I can recreate it and it runs first time but ultimately whatever job i run on the home partition it fails the second time with the following errors.

Code: Select all

veeamconfig session log --id {eb0e1da4-3972-4148-b891-89e95e287c52}

2016-11-15 04:10:25 UTC {016b181c-00fd-444d-8665-235110a20a0c} [error] Failed to get file system object info: '/veeam_backup/server.domain server-home/server-home_2016-11-10T173007.vbk'
2016-11-15 04:10:25 UTC {9efbd1d0-6735-42a4-ac2b-6ea4c35dd533} [error] Unable perform command: 'isFsItemExist' on local repository
2016-11-15 04:10:25 UTC {dbee7df2-8d29-47be-b4ab-0c6e22165b94} [error] Failed to perform backup
The file it is looking for exists. The repository is a windows server share, although doubt that matters as the other partitions back up.
The error seems obvious, but the file is there, the permissions are the same on the folder. If I recreate the job it works the first time.

Hi,

Please provide logs from /var/log/veeam, kernel logs (use dmesg -T and describe your setup: job settings, partitions schema, raid configuration (if any), lvms etc.

Thank you
