Hello,
We have tested the new mysql backup with linux agent V4.0 and unfortunately we hitted the problem with multi-instances.
This new mysql feature is only available and supported for mysql mono-instance...
Here are the errors i got:
10/02/2020 16:09:59 :: [MySQL] Error 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
in multi-instances mysql mode, sockets are located through multiple .sock files and differents ports.
Is this feature can be added in a future version?
Thanks,
Julien

Re: Feature Request: MySQL multi-instances backup
Hi,
It can be added in the future version, but we need to better understand your possible use cases. Would you describe yours, please? Do you run different versions of instances or they are all the same?
Thanks!

Re: Feature Request: MySQL multi-instances backup
Hello!
Thanks for your reply
Our use case is pretty simple: we want to use the same VM/ressource for multiple projects/mysql instance
We use the same version for each instance
Each instance has its own sock file, its own port and its own config files.
