In case anyone else is wondering, Veeam Agent for Linux 2.0 installs and works on Fedora 28, which has only just been released
Specifically, I have installed Fedora 28 into a VMware Workstation VM, from the live media. Clean install to hard drive, updates after a reboot, then installed Veeam Agent for Linux and configured/ran a backup to a Veeam B&R server repository.
Worked perfectly.
Kernel 4.16.5-300.fc28.x86_64.
I'll now upgrade my laptop with some confidence that backups will still work.
Only posting this because Fedora 28 is so new and thought other people might be interested.
