How to edit or customize veeam recovery media

Post by tomekv »

Hello.
I have recovery media downloaded form veeam page but everytime i have to use it i need to open command line to send two commands before i start recover:

Code: Select all

mkdir /media/bkp
and

Code: Select all

mount -t cifs -o username=user,vers=3.0 //192.168.xx.xx/directory/ /media/bkp/

Is there a posibility to automate that every boot ?

I use iso file via YUMI multi boot pendrive.

Hi,

I see what you mean, but currently there is no way how you could modify it. However, you can add arbitrary files into ISO during patching procedure (--copy key). Those files will be placed into "/" and won't be executed automatically. You can place .sh script into ISO that does some stuff for you, however you'd need to start it manually anyway.

P.S. I consider that as a feature request.

Thanks!
