Restore entire machine from backup

Post by 20c-ascii »

Hi

I am a beginner and evaluating the Veeam agent for Linux. Tried to do a full restore like the Windows one guide in blog. https://www.veeam.com/blog/how-to-rest ... umes.html
I have tried to restore an entire Centos machine to a different VMware host, having problems with LVM layout.
Tried with entire disk restore but no luck. Home, root and swap partitions not restoring.
Also created a case with Veeam: 03471471.

Thanks

Did you try the recovery with the recovery media for 2.0 or 3.0?

Hi
Thanks for the response! got reply from the support team yesterday!
Said Veeam 3.0 has a know issue with discovering LVM partitions and it worked with recovery media 2.0.

Thanks
