Restoring to a different Linux server

Post by szahri »

Hi all,
I'm new to Veeam and I've just run a backup for a Linux host installed with the Linux agent, which was successful.
I would like to restore some folders from this backup to ANOTHER linux host whoch is also connected to the same Veeam infrastructure.

Is this possible? When I ran the Restore wizard GUI --> Guest files/folders restores --> Linux its not immediately obvious if I can select a restore point from another host and restore to a different host.

Appreciate if anyone can let me know if this is possible. I came from the Netbackup realm and going on a very steep learning curve...

Thanks

Hello,
and welcome to the forums.

Yes, you can do it... it's "copy to" (instead of restore). There you choose all managed servers as destination.

Does that help?

Best regards,
