Hello,
In "Shared folder" there's a field "Keep backups for the past 14 days". Sadly this one is not working for me, I've started backups 31.01.2018 and there're all till today.
Is there any other option to leave only X backups or from last X days?

Hello,
I assume you are using Free or Workstation version of the Agent, so the retention policy takes into account not calendar days but days on which backup files were successfully created.
Please can you check if you've successful backup sessions everyday? Thanks!

My case ID is 02637765 but I thought I'd post here as well (not sure if I'm supposed to or not).
I'm also having this problem using Agent Free for Windows (most recent version). I have a retention policy of 10. I currently have:
VBK- Feb 20
VIBs: Feb 21, 22, 23, 23 (yes twice for some reason), 24, 24 (twice again), 25, 26, 26 (twice again), 27, 28, March 1, 2, 2 (twice again)
VBM: March 2
This is 16 items. Subtracting out the VBM and VBK, it's 14 VIBs where my retention is set for 10. Including the Feb 20 date of the initial VBK, it's 11 days worth of VIBs, not 10.
I also have no idea why Veeam Agent is making multiple VIBs on certain days, usually only around 25 minutes apart.
All VIBs are successful if that makes a difference.
