Hello Eaton,

Backup job can now correctly work when File On-Demand is enabled for certain files or folders but the content wont be downloaded from OneDrive (unless file or folder is already stored locally). Cheers!

Are you planning on adding a feature that will back up online-only files or is this all you plan on doing?

It would be nice if Veeam could temporarily download and back up any files not currently saved locally. That way I won't have to download all files before starting a backup.

We do not plan to provide the ability to download 'files on demand' from OneDrive in Veeam Agent for Windows. There is a better solution if you need to backup your OneDrive content, take a look at this blog post about Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 v2. Cheers!
