Hi guys,
I was cleaning my PC after an accidential Visual Studio COmmunity Edition install and after uninstalling "some related tools" I ran into the Veeam the following error:
---------------------------
Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows
---------------------------
Unable to complete the action because this backup agent is centrally managed by your system administrator.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
After digging around the web I found that Veeam Agent for Windows is using SQL LocalDB to storing some improtant stuff.
Well, as you can see in Subject I removed SQL LocalDB because I was sure I dont need it
Is there an easy way to put Veeam Agent for Windows (free) back on track?
"C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\VeeamBackup.mdf" and "C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\VeeamBackup_log.ldf" are still there...

Re: Accidentially uninstalled SQL LocalDB
Hello and welcome to the community Markus,
Try to download the installer of Veeam Agent for Windows and run it. If I am not mistaken it suggests you to run a repair mode and add all the missing components. If that's not working you can simply install Veeam Agent for Windows from scratch since your backup files will be unaffected and operational. Cheers!

Re: Accidentially uninstalled SQL LocalDB
Hi Dima,
thanks for approve my post and for the recommendations.
My first try was to run installer again but that ended in the same error message.
So I decided to uninstall Veeam Agent for Windows from appwiz.cpl (Control Panel).
Then I did a reinstall and what should I say?
It works like a charm
Thanks for your fast response and suggestions.
Thread can be marked as "solved" if thats possible.
