Agent 2.0 on Domain controller

Post by meetoo »

Veeam 9.5 cu2 Enterprise Plus
Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 2.0

I have 2 physical DCs (win2012r2) that I hoped to back via the agent, but we are concerned about the SQL LocalDB that gets installed with the agent. I see in other posts that it's being done, but are there any issues or gotchas we need to be aware of?

Thx

I've installed VAW20 on a number of physical DCs; have been running for several months. So far, no apparent issues.

The databases, Veeam and DC, are independent of one another.

Hi meetoo,

It’s fully supported and localdb should not somehow affect your existing setup.
