I am trying to figure out a way to update target directories.
I can't find where the backup host server name is stored.
i.e. I need to change from \\server.tld\joeblow to \\server.tld\home
Logins remain the same.
Is there a command line that will do it?
I set my own target to D:\myuniquebackupname\Veeam. I was unable to find a registry key nor a file holding the string "myuniquebackupname" That leads me to believe it's encrypted?

Re: automate an edit to configuration - bat or reg
Are these VMs managed in Veeam Backup & Replication in a Protection Group? Life is much easier if so.

Re: automate an edit to configuration - bat or reg
Hi techgirl,
If that's that a standalone agent deployment you can distribute agent configuration via xml and import/export command line provided by Veeam Agent Configuration API. You can export current configuration adjust the Backup Target section and inport the new configuration back. Please keep in mind that it requires agent license. Cheers!
