Is there a Veeam tool/setting/manual on how to set up a server to backup physical workstations in the network?
We would like to backup some of our workstations, but we don't like to install a veeamclient on every computer we want to backup. As I understand that Veeam-endpoit/veeam for windows needs to be installed on every single workstaiton seperatly.
Am I missing something?

Re: Backing up physical workstations
Hi
The installation of Veeam Endpoint on the workstation is required.
However it can be deployed and manged using either Veeam Availability Console (soon to be released), or using GPO/Scripts when using the paid versions.
With Veeam Backup And Replication v10, i think management and deployment of agents should be builtin.

Hi,
Regarding GPO or third party tools - take a look a Installing Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows in Unattended Mode and Automating Veeam Agent for Windows Operations Help Center articles.
