All,
I have been using VEB for some time now on a windows 8.1 laptop and recently I have upgraded the OS to windows 10.
Should I create a new full backup for windows 10 or can I continue with the existing backup chain?
If I need to create a new full backup how can I do that?
Thanks,
Dhanushka

Re: Backup after upgrading to windows 10
Hello, you can just continue backing up normally after upgrading. Thanks!

Re: Backup after upgrading to windows 10
Hi Dhanushka,
Indeed, you can continue the existing backup chain without any worries but if you still want to start any new one – just go to the job settings and change the backup destination (let’s say to another subfolder within you existing backup location), that should do the trick. However, keep in mind that new backup chain should be removed manually afterwards since it’s not going to be affected by job’s retention once the location has been changed.
