Hi, my name is Luke and I am a software engineer at intoDNA, a biotechnology company.
We are looking for a robust and simple backup solution for a workstation connected to a microscope.
It's just one computer with Windows 11, some software, drivers and configuration. We are looking for a solution that will periodically (e.g., twice a day) back up the machine to the cloud, preferably AWS S3. In case of failure, we need the ability to restore a single file, folder or restore the entire configuration using a bootable flash drive.
The question is - what is the easiest way to implement such a configuration?
We did some research and it seems that for our simple use case "Veeam Agent for Windows" would be the best option, but we are not sure if it can backup (and restore) from AWS.

Re: Backup and restore a single machine to AWS
In the current version, you cannot backup directly to S3 however this will be possible in the upcoming version that is targetted by the end of the year.
