For file server clusters, the Backup Copy Job ignores the "Per-machine backup file" flag and copies a backup file for each node of the cluster to the target repository of the backup copy job.
This is a problem when a Windows Veeam Agent backup file of a file server cluster volume is bigger than 13TB, since 23TB is ultimately copied and moved if the cluster is composed of 2 nodes.
Has anyone who deals with file server clusters with large volumes found a creative workaround for this issue?
The only solution I have found is to abandon the Backup Copy Job altogether; however, we would like to alleviate the performance hit of a Windows Agent Veeam backup from the nodes' operating systems to a backup copy job's source and target repositories.
