Backup Copy

Post by huntermaz »

We are using VEB on our physical servers and backing up to a VBR repository. Is there anyway to use VBR to make a copy of the backups to move to another site? Just trying enhance our DR plan and would like to have two copies of the back. up. I thought about doing SAN replication but being it is at the block level it looks like the replication would be pretty big.

Yes, you can use backup copy jobs to offload VEB backups from the existing VBR repository to another location.

No problem, I would also suggest to use this option for your VM backups too.
