Running Veeam Agent for MS Windows 3.0.1.1039.
All is well when the NAS target is already available when starting a PC to be backed up.
However, when the PC is running and when then at some time the NAS target becomes available, the backup process does not start automatically at all.
With the setting “Schedule when backup target is connected“ I would expect the backup process to start after a small delay as soon as the NAS target becomes available.
Apparently Veeam discovers a NAS target only upon starting and thereafter does not poll any NAS targets any more.
This is a bit annoying, since for protection against Cryptolockers we start our NAS manually (and let it shut down automatically after a certain period of time) only after having ensured that our PCs are not affected by any cryptolockers or alike.
