Backup fails periodically

Backing a physical windows 10 workstation with a server-mode job works for a few days, and then fails with errors like 'Error: managed session XXX has failed". Retries do not resolve this, but rebooting the target does. Case 04115933 opened.

The target is my physical windows 10 workstation. The server-mode job backs up to an NAS repository. It works fine after I reboot, but anywhere from 1-7 or so days later, it fails again. Just did again last night. Rebooted, and re-running VAW and it is working. Very annoying...

You are rebooting your Source workstation.
The workstation, which has VAW installed.

The target of the backup. I was pretty clear what was being backed up, and to where. If you can't contribute anything more than non-productive semantic quibbles, please don't comment.

It's pretty hard to guess the cause by the provided error message as it's pretty generic. I would recommend to keep investigating it with the support team.

Support is involved. Has to be something with my setup, as I have used VAW on several other windows hosts with never a problem.

Current theory from support: I am running malwarebytes, and that might be interfering with VAW. Per the KB I was pointed to, I have whitelisted several directories, and am keeping an eye out.
