We have a client that wants us to backup their Google Drive data. We tried to backup a drive mapped to Google Drive, but that was unsuccessful. We get the following error:
Failed to perform the operation.
Backup job name: Full with google.
Invalid job configuration: Cannot find a living volume by the name [G:\]
Does anyone know of a way for us to use the Windows Agent to backup Google Drive? Or is it just not possible?
Thanks.

Re: Backup Google Drive With Veeam Agent For Windows?
Veeam Agent does backup with Windows VSS Providers. It‘s a requirement.
I don‘t think, a google drive mapped disk in windows will support vss.
So I’m afraid, it‘s not possible.

Re: Backup Google Drive With Veeam Agent For Windows?
Thanks for the feedback Mildur.
I was able to work around this issue by setting up Google Drive to "Mirror" files to a local drive instead of the default setting of "Stream" files. Once set to mirror, backing up the local drive and/or the specific file directory achieved the desired goal.
