Backup hanging on VSS snapshot

I recently installed Veeam Agent of windows on my personal laptop after trying it on a VM;

i created a backup job but the backup hangs on VSS snapshot, it starded creating folder on the external disk wich i choose as backup target but did not filled it with data.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the case number.
While waiting for supports answer, can you please check anti-virus exclusions for Veeam?
There was another VSS case with Windows 11 22H2 and VSS backups:

Hi Fabian,

i already tried disabling real time protection on the anti-virus but it didn't let Veeam to execute the backup;

i also checked the article you suggest to me https://www.veeam.com/kb2034 but i cannot exclude folders from real time protection on my McAfee Lifesave anti-virus, only single files; but if Veeam doesn't make the backup also with real time protection completely disabled that should not be the point; or am i wrong?

My case was automatically closed, and i decided to unistall Veeam Agent for Windows and starting using Macrium Reflect instead.
