Backup Hyper-V host

Is it possible/recommended to backup a hyper-v host with Veeam Endpoint backup? The Hyper-V hosts run CSV and the guest VMs are already being backed up via Veeam B&R. I'm just concerned about the host itself.

Such approach is supported, so you can install VEB/VAW on top of Veeam B&R server.

Our two hosts are in an MS Cluster. Not sure if this is supported.... I see that it may not be according to this post:

Unfortunately, failover clusters are not supported. VAW/VEB is not ‘cluster aware’ solution.

Will this functionality be added in the future? Or maybe a different Veeam product that can backup Hyper-V cluster servers?

Last week during VeeamON we announced future support for Windows Failover Cluster within VAW.
