Backup Job error exception type was thrown

Support case ID is 04067354. Getting this backup error Error: Exception of type 'Veeam.Backup.AgentProvider.AgentClosedException' was thrown. I updated to latest version of veeam and still get the error. Backing up to a Synology NAS DS218 over vpn. I restarted the synology and backups still fail. Veeam is running fine on another computer.

Yes, destination is set to Shared folder.

Can you please check if you can access the file share under the set account via regular Windows file explorer?

Yes, I just verified again I can browse to the backup folder on the NAS from the computer.

Thanks! Put the case on the back burner for right now tho, I've discovered the storage pool on the nas is crashing due to hard drive failure. I"ll get the drive replaced and see if the error continues.

I'm pretty sure we did but this thread is old enough I don't remember what it was. If it's the job I'm thinking of, the internet connection wasn't that great and it was backing up over vpn. I think we ended up using Veeam to backup locally, then Synology Active Backup to backup the veeam folder to the nas and that worked fine.
