Backup OS other than Windows

As Gostev mentioned the next version of Endpoint in his excellent weekly digest, I wonder if will include the ability to backup Linux/MAC etc ?

The next minor update (v1.1) will not have support for these operating systems for sure. Beyond that, time will tell but no immediate plans. Thanks!

Any plans for an Endpoint Backup agent for Mac?
I've read comments that there isn't enough market share for it, but OS X's percentage is not far off from the Linux "desktop" percentage. However, a difference is that a lot of the Mac "desktops" would be concentrated in large groups at schools and universities where having a comprehensive backup solution would be very useful.

There are no plans for Mac in the short term future, but thanks for the feedback. On a side note, can you please tell us why Time Machine doesn't work as a solution for Mac protection?

Time Machine is a very nice option if you only manage 2 or 3 Macs, since it is not centrally managed. Also there is no central reporting. TM is not viable for large MacOS networks.
Veeam Endpoint Backup for Mac would be a very great product

Oscar, thanks for the feedback. So the main reason for this request is central management (configuration, monitoring and reporting) for backups on Mac OS

Well, from there you can get all the benefits and features of B&R like GFS retention, backup dedup, backup copy to cloud connect, backup copy to tape, etc.
