Backup VM in Different Vcenter
Dear all,
our Exchange Cluster will be moved to a different Datacenter with a New Vcenter Cluster. I wont have any Permissions in this Environment only local Administrator Rights to the Vms.
The Cluster will Consist of:
2 x MBX Server
2 x CAS HUB Server
All VMs will be in a Vmware Vcenter.
I still would like to backup these Vms with Veeam backup & Replication, but i guess if i cant get any Permissions on the New Vcenter this wont be so easy, so my thought on this was to install Veeam Agent for Windows on these Vms and Add the in a Protection Group VBR.
My Main Question on these Part is: Are Local Administrator Rights on the Exchange Cluster VMs enough to backup these with VEB and Manage the on VBR or do i need to Manage these VEB on its own?
Do even the Local Admin be enough to backup a Exchange Cluster ?
Thank you all in Advice.

Hello Gustav.
Failover cluster support for DAG will be available in upcoming Update 4. Local administrator account should be enough for remote agent deployment and application processing. Cheers!
