Backups are kept longer than intended

Hi,

at my job, I have set the backups to remain for 7 days. However, there are now 13 days of backups on my local storage.
Do I need to set another setting so that the old backups are automatically removed?

I have set this setting in the following place:
Edit Job -> Local Storage -> Keep backups for X days.

No, I dont. You mean the periodically option, correct?
Local Storage -> Advanced -> BAckup Tab -> Create active full backups periodically?

Correct.
Enable periodically full backups would lead to 7-14 days of restore points with a retention of 7 days.

The only other thing I can think of is your PC only created restore points on 7 days within the last 13 days.
