Bare-metal restore startup error 0xc0000017

I just created the recovery media with the computer I am wanting to restore. I did place a checkmark next to adding the hardware drivers and network connections to the flash-drive.

There is nothing special about this computer.

It is Windows 7 Home with 8GB of memory and an AMD A4-5300 cpu.

The error is "Ramdisk device creation failed due to insufficient memory".

What was the size of the volume you are restoring? Have you loaded any additional drivers during RE creation? Thanks!

The volume is 500GB. I had not loaded any add'l drivers other than the ones it included during the recovery media creation.

Thanks! The error your mentioned appears during actual recovery process (it in the recovery log) or right after you boot the recovery media?

The error appears immediately on bootup of the recovery media prior to the recovery environment.

The version is Veeam Endpoint Backup 1.5.0.306.

Thanks! Is it possible to recreate the recovery media using Veeam Agent for Windows v2 and re run the recovery process?

hi Dima, i ran inot the same problem today. recovery image was created through VBR, as the agent was managed bei the Server.. any advice how to proceed?

Hallo, i have the same problem. i create a recovery dvd with hardware and network drivers. I boot from dvd and restore stopped with error 0xc0000017.

What can i do?

I remember that this was a solution for someone else having this issue, although it was with a standalone version
