I've performed a bare metal restore to a different hardware (unchecked the "inject drivers" option as advised in other posts), but still no luck:
the machine boots to "starting windows" and then reboots in a loop.
I've also tried to perform windows repair with Win7 dvd.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I kept the CD in the drive, but boot options specify HDD before DVD drive -> so it should be ignored...

Re: bare metal Restore to different Hardware -> loops on boo
Is there any way I can force Windows to perform hardware setup like it's done at windows setup?

Hmm...I don't there is a way to force it from the media/restore UI. I would suggest contacting our technical team to review this issue live.
