Be able to backup Shared folder as a new feature..

I am posting for a feature request to be able to backup shared folders as more and more datastore are needed to be server\machine dependent and functionality should leverage spare points for backups like local drives.

Do you refer to backing up data on a NAS device that is used for sharing folders or something else?
