Best practice for LAN destination?

Hi

Long time user of Agent FREE. LAN destination never seems to work for me.

I usually create a username on the target machine via control userpasswords2 > Advanced that is part of the Distributed COM Users group and has a preset nonexpiring password. I also set the network type to "Work".

The same credentials are then entered in the Veeam wizard.

However, this usually fails. Curious if you guys have a better method.

Can you please tell me what exactly fails and what the error message is? Do you back up to a share, right?
